Canard Café Bar Stamford in Connecticut

"This is a very beautiful and aesthetic café. For years, I have always come here to do work, even back when this place was owned by Roost and Modern Love. I love Canard's menu options—there are plenty of pastries, brunch items, and drinks. The service is friendly, and I absolutely recommend stopping by to work or chat with others. I ordered a cappuccino with oat milk, a bacon, egg, and cheese on a bagel, the avocado toast, and the Quack Quack omelet. Everything was absolutely delicious!"

"This is a very pretty cafe with a lot of character. In terms of food, we had egg white omlette and the avocado toast and coffees, Both the accompanying breads were very hard and thin - maybe it is the style of the cafe - I would have preferred softer thicker slices of bread, but the avocado toast was pretty good. The presentation and ambience took all the awards. Friendly service. And, Good coffee ! Will love to return and linger"

"Cozy little cafe in Stamford. The food menu is only on Wednesday and weekends, but didn't find this mentioned anywhere until we reach there. There are bageles and sandwiches though, which they warm up and serve. Good place to do some office work as well as for large groups of people."

"Amazing food, amazing coffee, and even better people. The croque monsieur is a must, the cappuccino was on point, and the chocolate chip pancakes were unreal. Huge shoutout to Alexandros Petrou — my card wasn’t working and he went out of his way to help me by paying and trusting me to transfer the money. That level of kindness and humanity is rare and truly appreciated. This is the kind of place that keeps you coming back — not just for the food, but for the people."

"A truly one of a kind of eatery that almost feels like a third space. The food is simple, but good which is fantastic because it can be a bit daunting when you first walk in and join the line. The space feels lively, restrooms are neat and tidy. The staff is so relaxed they whisper to you. My only gripe is that it’s not visible from the roadside, but this can be a good thing."

"I thoroughly enjoyed the food, especially the chicken sandwich with bacon and cheese, which was absolutely delicious. On a chilly day, the cozy atmosphere was perfect, and the staff were incredibly welcoming and patient, especially since it was my first visit. I truly enjoyed the overall experience and will definitely be back! No P.S. Turn the bathroom door knob upwards to open the door, many stalls available ."

"We had the pesto, chicken crêpe, and the quack, quack omelette, and they were absolutely delicious. Coffee was amazing and the protein smoothie was so delicious atmosphere is very relaxed. Comfortable in the staff were very attentive. Food came out very quickly. Highly recommend if you’re looking for a nice light breakfast and a good cup of coffee the seating is very accommodating for doing your office work lots of plug-ins and desks to do your work."

"Amazing food, portions, service, and atmosphere. The chef Is very kind as well and did an amazing job with the presentation of the food. The little jam jars were such a cute touch! I got the vegetarian omelet and you can tell that it was truly made with love. 10/10! My go-to cafe in Stamford - especially for work from home since they have outlets at every table!"
